I get the same issue – with thickbox it just stays white, lightbox makes it look like it's continually opening, another one of the options just shows the thumbnail… I do like thickbox. I setup a own lightbox filter now - and that works :-) for a note but.. if I use the lightframe in a view - "Rewrite the output of this field" - it doesn't work .. However, if that doesn't work for whatever reason, set the cursor wherever in that code box and then press CTRL+A (Windows) or Command +A ( MacOS). .... html page which only contains the embedding code of Vimeo, then place an image in your article that links to that html page in such a way that it opens it in the lightbox, then it is possible. But I haven't tested this myself
